Ms. Dawnyelle Butler is a native of Baltimore, Maryland where she attended City College High School and graduated in 1991.  After leaving City College, her interest in the Arts was a motivating factor for her to attend The University of The Arts in Philadelphia where she received a BFA degree in Jazz and Theater Dance 1995. Her daughter Myla Butler (9 years old) participates in cheerleading and mom is her support team. I met Dawnyelle at the Success In Arts Seminar in New York and I was interested in her story. Each year, Ms. Butler produces Plays in Baltimore to support the local artist.

Also, in our discussion, I learned her husband Avery Wills is a Cancer Survivor.

Ms. Butler is a “World Class Model” with a Confident look and a “Mean Walk…”  Recently, I had the honor to sit down and ask her some questions about the past, present, and her future plans.
